Cyber Challenge Activities
Designate an hour, a day, or more during April 10-14 to take action to improve cyber hygiene and learn how to continue to keep yourself safe and your devices secure!
You can take the Cyber Challenge with your corporation or school, or as an individual. Start by checking out the Cyber Challenge checklist. These are simple activities to keep you and your devices safe.
And your organization may have additional activities lined up for your Cyber Challenge! What’s important is that we all take action and make a dedicated effort to make our cyberspace safer and more secure.
We’ll be adding activities and resources to this page over the next couple of months leading up to the week of the Cyber Challenge, so stay tuned!

India
Activities & Resources
During India’s presidency of G20, India is running a campaign titled ‘Stay Safe Online’ aimed at creating awareness among citizens including specially-abled persons to stay safe in an online world on the widespread use of social media platforms and rapid adoption of digital payments. As India is making significant efforts towards becoming a trillion-dollar digital economy, the campaign focuses on sensitizing users of all ages about online risk & safety measures and promoting cyber hygiene thereby reinforcing the cyber safety of citizens. Citizens of all age groups, covering rural and urban areas, with special emphasis on children, students, women, teachers, faculty, senior citizens, specially-abled persons, officials of Central & State Governments etc. are invited to participate in the Stay Safe Online campaign.

Japan
Activities & Message
In Japan, “Cybersecurity Awareness Month” is conducted from February 1st to March 18th, as Japan’s activities for the QUAD Cyber Challenge Campaign. Various campaigns such as promotion events by Japanese celebrities, seminars for business leaders and releasing short movies target wide range of generations from teenagers to elderlies, while a competition for cybersecurity skills among staffs of government agencies, namely “capture the flag”, takes place. Through these events, basic actions to be taken by each person will be promoted. Please see the detail in the Japanese special website.
Further, as the campaign reaches its climax in the week of 10 April, Koichi Tani, Minister of State in charge of affairs concerning the Cybersecurity Strategic Headquarters, has given a video message to extend his congratulations on the campaign and introduce Japan’s initiatives.
